English Study Tours Hawaii is a modern, intensive English language program that builds strong English skills and unforgettable memories of your visit to Hawaii

English Study Tours Hawaii ist ein moderner Englisch-Intensivkurs, der Ihnen gute Englischkenntnisse vermittelt und unvergessliche Erinnerungen an Hawaii bescheren wird.

The program uses a modern methodology that combines classroom training with activities-based English-only practice sessions.  After classroom training, students participate in interesting activities around Hawaii every day in an English-only environment. 

Das Programm nutzt moderne Methoden, die Ausbildung im Klassenzimmer mit Anwendungen in der Praxis kombinieren. Nach dem Unterricht im Klassenzimmer nehmen die Studierenden täglich an interessanten Aktivitäten rund um Hawaii teil, wobei ausschliesslich Englisch gesprochen wird.

This is an efficient and exciting way to see and appreciate the Hawaiian Islands while, at the same time, providing opportunities to practice English with real native speakers in the community.

English Study Tours combines classroom training with real-life English training through daily English-only activities around the Hawaiian Islands.

Where is the English Study Tours program located?

The English Study Tours program is a class in motion.  Classes are held on three separate Hawaiian Islands and in many locations around these islands. There is no single class facility, but rather, many.  Students from all over the world participate, and class sizes are small (usually an average of 8 students).

What is the goal of the English Study Tours program?

The focus is clear:  to help our students to build a strong, practical foundation in English language communication where the student not only has the tools but also the confidence to communicate in English. This will help students to more effectively pursue future training for standardized English language exams (like Cambridge and TOEIC) and to feel more confident in business and casual English language communications situations.

What is the minimum English language skill requirement to enter the English Study Tours program?

The student must be able to speak and understand English at a low intermediate to intermediate level.  Please contact us if you are not sure of your level and we will schedule you for an evaluation.

What about student visas?
Benötige ich ein Studenten-Visum?

If you plan to stay in Hawaii for 3 months or less, then we recommend that you come to the U.S. on a tourist visa.  The reason why is because, generally, it is easier and faster and, in some cases, much less expensive to obtain a tourist visa than it is to obtain a student visa.  The English Study Tours curriculum allows you to study with us under a regular tourist visa for nearly three full terms (3 months).

Wenn Sie einen Hawaii-Aufenthalt von 3 Monaten oder weniger planen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, mit einem Touristen-Visum in die USA einzureisen. Normalerweise ist dies einfacher und schneller zu bekommen. Ausserdem ist in manchen Fällen ein Touristen-Visum viel kostengünstiger als ein Studenten-Visum. Bitte klären Sie rechtzeitig ab, ob Sie ein Visum beantragen müssen oder ob Ihr Reisepass genügt. Der ‚English Study Tours’-Lehrplan erlaubt Ihnen das Studium mit einem normalen Touristen-Visum für annähernd drei volle Blöcke (drei Monate)
