2.  Apply.  申し込み
Fill out our application form and submit it to us at least 45 days before you intend to come
to Hawaii.  Admittance into the English Study Tours program is selective since space
is limited.  Not everyone gets admitted.  When we receive your application we will review
it carefully.  We will contact you if we have any further questions or need clarifications. 
We will contact you as soon as we have made a final decision about your application. 
Please remember that if you do not get accepted in one term, you may be eligible for
admission in the next term to follow.  We will keep your application active for 6 full terms.
申し込み用紙にご記入頂き、ハワイの到着予定４５日前ま
でには当校にお送り下さい。申し込み頂いた方全員が確
実に当校に入学出来るという事ではありません。一番の理
由はクラスの生徒数の限界です。申し込み用紙を受け取った後、
当校はそれを慎重にチェック致します。もし当校から質問等がある
場合にはご連絡させて頂きます。当校が最終的に入学許可の決断
後すぐにご連絡致します。もし当校からの入学許可を受け
取れなかった場合、次の学期に入学資格がある事を覚えておいて下さい。

3.  After being accepted. 入学許可後
After you have received notification from us that you have been accepted into the program,
the next step is to send in your registration fee ($95), your tuition deposit (25% of  the total
tuition due; for example, if you registered for 2 terms, then the deposit amount will be 25%
of the total tuition due for 2 terms), and your activities deposit of $350.   We will send you
instructions on how to wire transfer to our account here in Hawaii.  We must receive the
registration fee and deposits within 72 hours of when you were notified of your
acceptance.
当校から入学承諾通知書を受け取り後、登録料95ドル、授業料
の25％の保証金額、アクティビティの保証金３５０ドルの合計金額をお知ら
せ致します。（２学期分申し込みを頂いた場合、２学期分の授業料の２５％が
保証金になります）同時に当校の口座、お支払い方法をお知らせ致します。
入学、入学期間を確約する為に入学承諾通知書を受け取った７２時間に以
内にこれらの支払いをして頂きます。

4.   Airline Reservations. 航空券の手配
When we have confirmed your acceptance into the program (after application acceptance
and the receipt of initial fee and deposit), please make airline reservations.  Remember
that the first part of our Study Tours adventure will begin on either Maui, Kauai, or the
Big Island of Hawaii.  Please make sure that you book flights from your home country
to one of these islands, say Maui, (we will notify you of which one upon acceptance
into the program). 
当校からの入学承諾通知書を受け取り、登録料と保証金をお支払い後、
航空券の手配をして下さい。１学期の授業はマウイ島、カウアイ島、ハワイ島のどち
らかで行います。日本からホノルルを経由して離島への航空券と離
島からオアフに戻る航空券をご予約下さい。登録承諾通知書と同時
にどの島で１学期初日のクラスを行うかお知らせ致します。

For example, if you are coming from Japan you will book a flight from Japan to Honolulu
and then from Honolulu to an outer island (like Maui).  The island of Oahu is where the
core of our study excursions take place. 
もし、クラスの初日がマウイ島で行われる場合、日本、成田空港からの
ご出発の方は成田からホノルル（往復）ホノルルからマウイ島の航空券をご
予約下さい。

Remember that our Study Tours start dates and meeting times are firm, so make sure that
you book your flight so that you arrive the day before to give you time to acclimatize to
your new surroundings.  We will have hotel accommodations booked for you in advance on
the outer island. There is never a charge for our booking outer island
accommodations for you.

当校の初日は時間に遅れないで下さい。そして、新しい環境に慣れる為に、
前日には到着するように航空券のご予約をお願い致します。離島のホテルの
予約は 当校が致しますが手配手数料はかかりません。

Note, important outer islands accommodations:  we will book your hotel room for you on the outer islands that we’ve chosen for the first part and second parts of our Study Tours adventure.  It is important that everyone is located in the same hotel.  You have the choice of sharing a room with another student, or having your own room.  Sharing a room is a lot cheaper, but some students like their privacy.  If you do not want to share a room, then there is an added expense that must be paid at the time you check into the hotel. Please let us know at the time of acceptance into the program if you do not want to share a hotel room.
注意・離島のホテルの手配：
生徒みなさんに同じホテルに泊って頂きたいので、当校が離島でのホテル、
部屋の予約の手配を致します。１人部屋か他の生徒との同じ部屋を選べます。
他の生徒さんと同じ部屋の方が金額は安いですが、プライバシーを大事にする
生徒さんもいます。もし１人部屋をご希望の場合は、追加料金がかかり
ますのでご了承下さい。ホテルの部屋のご希望は登録の時点でお知ら
せ下さい。

5.  Accommodations on Oahu. オアフ島での宿泊先
As mentioned earlier, much of the English Study Tour adventure happens in different locations
on the island of Oahu.  So, you will need accommodations on Oahu.  By the time you get here,
arrangements will already have been made for you for accommodations on Oahu.  So, when
you arrive on Oahu from the outer island Study Tours excursion, you will have accommodations
waiting for you. This is how the arrangements are made for accommodations on Oahu:

島にて行いますので、オアフで宿泊施設が必要です。ハワイに来ら
れる前に予約をし、到着時点で宿泊先は準備を終えているようにして下さい。
レッスンの初日から３日間の離島ツアーからオアフに戻って来る時には、
宿泊施設があなたを到着を待っているようにして下さい。

You may make these arrangements through your travel agent, or you can make
these arrangements through us.  If you would like us to find you accommodations,
then you must tell us this at the time of your notification of acceptance into the
program.  See our accommodations page in this website for more information
about what is available, fees, deposits, and usual costs.
旅行代理店又は当校を通して宿泊施設を手配する事が可能です。

6.  Complete Care. 当校の生徒達へのケア
Because you will be spending a limited amount of time here, and you don’t have
unlimited amounts of money to spend, we have set up a Complete Care system
to help you to get the most out of your time here without having to waste a lot of time,
money and effort trying to find things and get around.
当校は生徒全員へのケアシステムを作りました。あなたは限られた時間、
限られたお金しかないと考えました。生徒全員がお金、努力、時間を無駄
遣いせず、最大限にそれらを活用して欲しいと考えました。

The Complete Care system helps you with the following: ケアシステムは以下の通りです。

• We provide you with a free bus pass for unlimited travel around the Island of
  Oahu throughout your stay with us.  You may bring a bicycle, a boogie board,
  and packages on board the bus if you like, and most buses run until pretty late at night.
  当校はあなたの滞在中にオアフ島の１ヶ月のバスパス（日本で言うと定期券）
  を提供致します。 バスのフロント部分には自転車がつめるようになっており、
  ボディボードを持ってバスに乗る 事が出来ます。ほとんどのバスは夜遅くま

• We also provide you with other forms of transportation while on Study Tour so
  that transportation should never be an issue while you are here.

• Free emergency cellular phone:  to be used for emergencies; you can call us or
  emergency personnel in case there is a problem. (There is a deposit for this
  which is refunded when the cell phone is returned at the end of your stay.)

• Airport pickup and drop off:  we will pick you up at the airport and drop you off
  when you are going home.  In some cases there is a charge for this service
  because of distances to the airport (please see the fees section of our website ).

• We will find accommodations for you, including home stays (subject to availability)
  upon your request.  There is a fee for this so please see the accommodations

7.  What to bring. Some suggestions about what to bring with you to Hawaii:

• Clothing, dress according to the season.
  洋服、季節にあった洋服（ハワイは１年中半そでですごく事が出来ますが、
  ハワイにも冬があり、冬の時期には羽織る者が必要になります）
  
  
• Summer in Hawaii: ハワイの夏
  days are warm and sunny and nights are comfortable and usually breezy (light jacket is handy
  sometimes).  Be prepared for some light mauka (from the mountains) showers from time to time.
  日中は暖かくて太陽の日差しが強く、夜はとても快適です。（薄手のジャケット、
  カーディガンがあると便利です。）にわか雨が時々降ります。
  
  
• Fall in Hawaii: ハワイの秋
  warm days but can be windy.  Nights are comfortable, but a light jacket is recommended if
  you are planning an outing on the beach.  We can get some rain in the fall, so be prepared.
  日中は暖かいですが、風が強くなります。夜は快適ですが、浜辺など、
  遠出の予定がある場合、軽いジャケットを持っていく事をお勧めします。
  秋にはにわか雨が多くなります。
  
  
• The winter months in Hawaii are generally very beautiful, but the weather is very
  variable and you should be prepared for heavy rain at times, cool weather at times,
  and generally variable conditions.  This is the time of the year when the North Shore
  gets huge waves, so please use caution if you plan a beach outing on the North Shore
  and you plan to go swimming.

  時々の豪雨、変わりやすい天気などに対処するように準備をして下さい。

• Spring in Hawaii:  ハワイの春
  beautiful, warm, little wind.  We can get some rain at this time, but about the same
  likelihood as fall.
  暖かくなり、風が少しおさまります。秋と同じようににわか雨があります。
  
  
• Some of our excursions may take us to cold places.  Yes, Hawaii actually has a place
  where you can snow ski!!  The higher you go into the mountains, the colder it gets. 
  If we go to Maui or the Big Island, we will most likely be visiting some extremely
  interesting areas in the mountains, so bring some warm clothes with you.

  でスキーが出来る場所があります。山の高い所はとても寒いです。マウイ島、
  ハワイ島の山など、とても面白くエキサイティングですが、必ず厚手の上
  着を持っていって下さい。
  
  
• Sun protection. 日焼け対策 
  Bring a good sun screen with you. SPF 50 protection is recommended.
  日焼け対策にSPF５０以上の日焼け止めクリームをお勧めします。
  
  
• Backpack. バックパック（リュック）
  It should be big enough to carry some extra clothing, water, your Study Tours
  clipboard box (measures approximately 3.5 cm by 5.3 cm; used for handouts,
  note-taking and to store other learning material), and whatever else you would
  like to bring with you on our excursions.
  寒さ対策のジャケット、水、授業に必要なクリップボード（プリントなどを
  はさんだり、ノートを取る時の下敷きの代わり）などその他あなたが必
  要な物を入れます。
  
  
  
• Important documents:  重要書類など
  passport, drivers license (if you have one), visa, credit or debit card (if you have one),
  proof of medical insurance, all of your receipts that we have sent you from English Study Tours.
  (It is possible to get a local ID while you are here. This is good for discounts and other
  convenient privleges while you are in Hawaii)
  パスポート、運転免許証、ビザ、クレジット、デビットカード、海外旅行保険証券、

• You can purchase fins, snorkel, and mask, bicycle, and additional clothing and second
  smaller backback here in Hawaii at very reasonable prices.  If you want to lighten your
  baggage requirement, consider buying some of these things here.
  とても手頃な価格でフィン（シュノーケル）とマスク、自転車と衣類と学校などに行
  く際のバックパック （リュック）などをハワイにて購入する事が出来ます。もし、
  日本からの荷物を少なくしたい場合、これらをハワイで買うことを考えてください。
